RCIA

RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. RCIA can include all three sacraments of initiations (baptism, confirmation and Eucharist), and reconciliation. RCIA is offered for those individuals over 18 who have not yet received full catechetical preparation for participation in the sacraments. Through ongoing discussion, prayer, and preparation with the pastor and fellow RCIA candidates, persons seeking full initiation to the Catholic church are guided to the graces therein.

• Classes are held annually with the anticipation that candidates and catechumens will enter the Church during the Easter Vigil Mass.
• Classes are taught by Fr. Richard Thompson, Pastor.
• Classes usually begin in October and go through the Easter vigil.
• Classes are held in the evenings, typically and meeting dates are agreed upon by pastor and candidates.
